First Steps Pregnancy Support is a community organisation that provides a central contact point for pregnant women in crisis.

Pregnancy can be a time of great joy, but for many it brings significant distress without any clear pathway through.  We are here to ensure that all pregnant women can access the vital support and resources they need to enable them to continue with their pregnancy and to become capable and confident mothers.

For eligible women, we provide free antenatal appointments with one of our doctors. This will be done in consultation with your hospital midwife.

community hub

We would love for you to drop by our Community Hub. This is a safe space to connect with other Mums and to drop in for advice, scheduled appointments and good coffee. Children are most welcome. Keep an eye out for notifications about upcoming events.

A wide range of classes are available for our women with topics including Birth and Parenting classes, Cooking Classes and more to come.

We support pregnant women from all walks of life.

No referral is needed to access our services. All care provided is confidential and free of charge. No Medicare or private health insurance is required.
